The Lady Athenian soccer team moved to 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in the conference after a 5-1 victory over the visiting Frankfort Hot Dogs.
Senior Kate Conklin led the scoring for Crawfordsville with two goals and Alex Gasaway, Chloe Conklin and Kara Fulwider added a goal each to round out the Lady Athenian scoring.
Frankfort was a very physical team and were constantly pressuring Crawfordsville all over the field. Crawfordsville at times appeared to have some problems with the physical style but when the ball was near the goal they found ways to make the scores.
