The Lady Mounties hosted Fountain Central at the Crawfordsville Country Club on senior night for Southmont. The match was interrupted after a BIG flash of lightning sent everyone scurrying for the club house. The delay did not last much longer than the mandatory 30 minutes and the ladies were back on the course to finish up the match.
Southmont finished with a team score of 209 and were led by their two seniors with Jenna Whalen taking the medalist spot with a 47 followed closely by a 48 from Aubri Rush. Fountain Central did not have enough golfers to qualify for an official score.
The Lady Mounties travel to Lafayette Jeff on Thursday before heading to the conference meet on Saturday at Quail Creek.
