The Crawfordville Athenians used an early barrage of goals to take their 4th consecutive sectional in convincing fashion, defeating Southmont 7-1.
I arrived just as the game was starting and by the time I had my camera out of the car and walked to my spot on the field the score was already 3-0 and the game was barely 10 minutes old. Crawfordsville continued to build on their lead and actually ended the game scoring all the goals as the only Southmont score came when Jordan Kiger could not stop a shot by his own teammate.
Congratulations to the Athenians on the big victory.
