After a nice win for the Lady Mounties in the set 1, the Lady Chargers size and power took over to give them a 3-1 victory. Below are some of my favorite images. The Lady Mounties have a young squad but they go after balls and make lots of nice plays. All they need is some more experience and they are going to really start getting people’s attention. While Fishers was able to get the win, Crawfordsville made several very nice plays against players of a caliber not normally seen in local action. Below are some of my favorites from the match. Click here to view them as a [...] The Lady Mounties picked up an easy victory over the visitors from Faith Christian. I only shot one half since I was also trying to cover the boys match. However, my experimentation during the boys match turned out to be a failure and a waste of time. Sorry boys team, this is [...] The Mounties hosted a very strong and well coached North Putnam football team with North Putnam securing a convincing 35-14 victory. The Cougars are a strong team and should go deep in this year’s 2A playoffs. Wish I got to see them play more often. One penalty, no turnovers, one punt and 46 points in the first half was pretty impressive. Size, speed and athleticism is a hard combination to match. Once they get settled in with a new setter they will be tough to beat.
