The photo book from the 2010 Strawberry Festival Queen Contest is complete. Those who have already ordered a copy will receive them in about 10 days. For those who have not ordered a copy you can preview it below as well as order one directly from here by clicking on the BUY link at the bottom left. Keep in mind this is a low resolution preview. The printed books will look much nicer than the preview. Thanks for looking. After falling asleep in the middle of the afternoon and missing my card game, I decided to go see The Vipers at The Sand Bar. Gotta love classic rock and roll jams!! Too bad it was 134,000 degrees outside. Jack Daniels does not help keep you cool either but I did have a really good time partying with some of my new coworkers. After a long day of graduation festivities I went to the Sand Bar at A Country Affair for night of live music featuring Healing Sixes. It was the first time I had been to the Sand Bar since it opened and it is a really nice setup. My Jack and Cokes were a bit expensive, but I did not let cost slow me down. It was also the first time I had seen Healing Sixes and they were outstanding!! While their original stuff is very good, the covers of Led Zeppelin flat out rocked. They will return to the Sand Bar September 4 so if you get a chance go check them out. You can also find more info on the band on their website, Facebook page or MySpace page. Below is a slideshow of some photos from the night. The all orange gel lighting the second half of the night made most of the photos look like hell so I converted them to black and white. I spent a beautiful Saturday night taking photos of Steve Trent and Small Town during their show at the Sugar Creek Campground. These guys are outstanding as many of you know.
