The ISHAA has been cracking down on photographers posting and selling photos from state tourney events. A couple of my photo buddies from Indy ran into problems this year so to avoid potential problems I have decided to not post any photos other than the big pano photo below. Sorry folks. To navigate the image below, click in the + and – arrows at the left to zoom in and out. To reposition the image, hold down on your mouse button over the image and drag it around as needed. The Southmont boys basketball teams closed out their 2009-2010 season against the visiting Fountain Central Mustangs. The JV team played what seemed like the longest JV game in history, finally edging out the Mustangs 60-59 in four overtimes. The varsity team was not as fortunate as they fell to Fountain Central 62-55. Below is a slideshow of some of my favorite images from the two games. The North Montgomery Chargers boys basketball teams hosted Benton Central for a JV and varsity matchup as the regular season quickly draws to a close. Both teams were able to gain victories as the JV won 46-34 and the varsity won 53-42. Below is a slideshow of some of my favorite images from the two games. The Crawfordsville boys JV and varsity basketball teams hosted the Danville Warriors. I did not take as many photos as normal because of the numerous other events going on. The freshman boys teams from North Montgomery and Crawfordsville closed out their 2009-2010 season in exciting fashion as North Montgomery was able to squeak past the Athenians in overtime 46-39. The North Montgomery freshman boys basketball team hosted the Brownsburg Bulldogs. The Chargers played the much larger Bulldogs close for the first half and made a nice run to get the game close in the third quarter but a strong run by Brownsburg allowed them to open up the game and cruise to a 43-20 victory. The Crawfordsville basketball team was able to pull off a dramatic four overtime victory over Frankfort 88-86. Below are some of my favorite images from the night. Click here to view them as a gallery or click here to view all the images from the night.
The West Lafayette Red Devils traveled to North Montgomery for a non-conference matchup with the Chargers. North Montgomery played a solid game, controlling the tempo most of the night in route to a comfortable 59-47 victory. Below are some of my favorite shots from the night. The Danville Warriors brought their traveling talent show to North Montgomery to close out a boy-girl night of Sagamore conference basketball. Entering the game ranked #2 in the state, and currently ranked #1, the Warriors showed that they are very deserving of the ranking as they dominated the contest leaving with a 63-42 victory.
