The Lady Chargers cruised to an easy win over Greencastle. With Greencastle struggling just to return a serve, it did not make for a very exciting match. I was playing around with a different lens for the match and did not end up with much of anything worth a darn given that about 1/3 of the points came from aces. Southmont, like Crawfordsville, faced off against a very solid opponent in Goshen. The Lady Mounties have a young squad but they go after balls and make lots of nice plays. All they need is some more experience and they are going to really start getting people’s attention. Below are some of my favorites from the match. The Lady Athenians had their hands full against a much bigger Fishers team. While Fishers was able to get the win, Crawfordsville made several very nice plays against players of a caliber not normally seen in local action. Below are some of my favorites from the match. The Lady Chargers looked very strong in their season opener with a very dominating front line. Size, speed and athleticism is a hard combination to match.
